Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides essential nursing support in the delivery of withdrawal management care at Rose City Detox. This role is responsible for performing vital sign monitoring, withdrawal assessments, medication administration, and collaborating closely with the nursing team to ensure safe, effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, withdrawal monitoring using CIWA and COWS scales, and medication administration.
- Support Registered Nurses (RNs) and the Nurse Manager in delivering detox-related nursing care.
- Accurately document all patient care activities in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Monitor patients for changes in clinical condition and promptly report to RN, Nurse Practitioner, or Medical Director.
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in behavioral health or withdrawal management/detox setting preferred.
