Admissions/Intake Director

Position Summary

The Admissions Director oversees and supervises all admissions activities at Rose City Detox, ensuring timely and compliant intake processes. This role coordinates initial screenings, eligibility verifications, ASAM assessments, and intake logistics, while providing training and support to admissions staff on program policies, trauma-informed care, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and supervise all admissions-related activities and staff.
  • Ensure timely completion of initial patient screenings, eligibility checks, and ASAM assessments.
  • Coordinate intake logistics including bed availability and pre-admission paperwork.
  • Train and support intake staff on policies, trauma-informed care principles, and Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, psychology, or a related field; OR
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Level I (CADC I) or Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) certification.
  • One (1) year or more experience in substance use disorder (SUD) admissions or intake processes.
  • Familiarity with ASAM criteria and Oregon Health Authority admission regulations (OAR 415-050).
